Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein

Yeh Kali Kali Aankhen explores the uncharted territory of a failed hero. To date, it is a never-before-seen series wherein the hero struggles every step. Due to a series of misfortunes, he has been trapped in-between a very possessive wife and his dream girl. Luck declines miserably (rather often comically) all the attempts of escape made by the hero. Awaiting next season eagerly.
Gullak

Mishra family is the quintessential middle-class family – they are just the family who may be your neighbors – or maybe you were the Mishra. Better still, maybe you ARE the Mishras? With a stellar performance by the entire cast, the series spans over 3 seasons. They will make you laugh, gasp with dismay and cry with remorse. The gullak or the piggy bank is an integral part of every Indian household and is the narrator of the stories.
Decoupled

Can two partners be divorced or mutually separated and still be best friends? This series brings a fresh perspective on co-parenting and life after divorce; how people can be best friends yet not be married to each other; how marriage is legal documentation, rather than the actual relationship. The comedy series raises the general awareness that if you are unhappy in a relationship, it is better to walk out of the relationship rather than constantly bicker and fight about it.
Masaba Masaba

Masaba Masaba season 2 is better than season 1 in my honest opinion. This series crushes patriarchy in a beautifully woven story, drawing real-life inspiration from Neena Gupta and Masaba Gupta. Not princess, but the very idea of the king creating her space and labeling it as her Kingdom is the bottom line of the story. The series also deals with mental health awareness. More than often we fail to identify depression or related mental health in a friend or close family members. we pour in unnecessary pieces of advice instead. I am so happy that the series ends on a happy note.
Escaype Live

Escaype Live on Hotstar will surprise you by bringing a very common topic to the table. Digital India as we know is growing constantly with Minute-to-Fame apps. Such apps promise money and popularity based on ratings ie Likes, Followers, and Shares. The series chases the dark side of the characters who are influencers and shows us how the virtual world is quite contrary to the real world. The people behind the short videos are not actually what they seem to be and can go to any length to maintain their followers’ count and be coronated with the title of a superstar digital superstar. this series is one of the dark horses on the OTT platforms
Suhzal

I had never heard of “Mayyan Kollai” until this web series. The initial story seems slow- you almost want to give up – and damn! You are sucked into the vortex! The story will twist and turn. There is no guessing – you may conclude the end of the story but it’s only when all other options have been eliminated. The cinematography is just mind-blowing! Both the ferocity and pomp of the festival have been captured so well and keep you on the edge of your seat.
